A story can be sold temporarily on the market, but inconsistency can't be financed long-term.
An investor who decides based on promises of future growth, without a documented trail of past decisions and their outcomes, takes on a risk that could have been reduced by a simple request for that history — a request that itself filters serious partners from those with nothing to show.
An organisation seeking serious capital must therefore build a verifiable track record in advance: audited statements, consistent methodology, publicly accessible registers — not as formality, but as the basic precondition for trust that cannot be bought with a promise.
Every important number must have a source, a definition, and a limitation. When they're missing, the investor prices in additional risk.
Transparency isn't weakness. It's the operational advantage of an organisation that knows what it's doing and can prove it.
